This handmade glass is based on a 15th century original. Glass like this was used around the 15th century by European aristocrats and rich merchants, especially for drinking wine. In North Europe white wine was most frequently consumed. The relief on the grip of this glass prevents the glass from sliding from greasy hands. Very handy for medieval banquets.
