This mug is made after a 15th century German original found in Siegburg. Mugs like this were mainly used in Germany and traded to whole Europe.

The mug is made of clay from the Rhineland and it is baked in a flame oven (a 15th century invention). The oven gives the mug its unique color that differs per item. Its height is 8 cm.
