Essential for every banquet! The aquamanile was used as a jug to pour water over the hands of guests. This was a perfect opportunity to show how wealthy the aristocratic host was. Because of this aquamaniles had a remarkable shape.
This aquamanile is made after a bronze 13th century original. Nowadays the original is part of the collection of the British Museum.

This aquamanile is completely handmade and no item is identical. It is the result of both archaeological and ceramic expertise and it fits well in the European art style of the 13th century. It is made of clay from the Rhineland. Its height is approx. 20 cm and it has a diameter of approx. 20 cm.
