This axe is made after the illustrations in the Maciejowski Bible. Axes like this were presumably used between the 12th and 14th century all over Europe and are obviously evolved from the earlier Scandinavian models.
It has a length of 100 cm and the blunt version has a head with a thickness of 3 mm that is rounded. It can also be delivered sharp (0,5 ? 1 mm thick).

Maintenance&care
Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your weapons regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper. Remove burrs with a whetstone. Make sure you have removed all burrs before using a battle-ready weapon, as they can cause injury.
