Product description
This bust is made after the classical busts of the Greek philosopher Aristoteles. The original is nowadays part of the collection of the Spa Museum in Rome. Aristoteles was a Greek philosopher who is seen as one of the most influential classical philosphers in the western tradition, together with Socrates and Plato. He was a member of Plato`s philosophical Akademeia and his influence is present in Aristoteles` work, although Aristoteles represents a philosophical trend that clearly deviates from Plato.
This bust is made of plaster alabaster with an antique patina layer. It measures approx. 24 cm.
