Product description

The lorica manica or manica was a type of protection that consisted of overlapping segments that were attached to each other and it could be fastened with straps and laces. The manica was mainly worn by Roman gladiators.

This manica is made of leather. It covers the whole arm from shoulder to hand. Manica is Latin for ?long arm?. Our reproduction is robust and perfectly suited for re-enactment. The length of the manica is 87 cm, the width at the shoulder is 35 cm and at the wrist 12 cm. It weighs 750 grams.
