This sword follows type L: a triangular to pyramid-shaped pommel and a short, thick cross-guard. A streamlined design that fits the Viking swords from the English region in the 10th century.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe straight, double-edged blade of hardened EN45 spring steel (approx. 48-52 HRC) has a wide fuller. The grip is wrapped in red leather. Like many originals, the pommel is constructed from two parts: the continuous tang is riveted to the lower part and both parts are connected with two nails.
