The chaperon has been crafted after several 14th and 15th century manuscripts, pen drawings and sculptures. Chaperons of this type were worn throughout feudal Europe, offering protection to the head, neck and shoulders from rain and cold. Amongst all classes of society and both sexes, the chaperon was a widely worn garment.
Constructed from 70% wool, the chaperon features a medium length tip whilst the bottom is flared. This chaperon is hand-dyed.
