The chaperon has been made after several 14th and 15th century manuscripts, pen drawings and sculptures. Chaperons of this type were worn throughout feudal Europe, offering protection for the head, neck and shoulders from rain and cold. Chaperons were worn by people from all classes of society and both sexes.
The chaperon is crafted from 70% wool, features a medium length tip and a flared bottom. This chaperon is hand-dyed.
