The tunic is a particularly well-suited garment for living history and reenactment events. Crafted from 100% sheep wool, it provides excellent warmth and comfort. The tunic features a classic round neck with a centre front slit, which may be worn open or closed with a fibula. Side slits are also included to permit ease of movement. Diamond twill is characterised by a small pattern of lozenges, arranged in offset rows, which becomes particularly apparent when contrasting colours are employed in warp and weft. This traditional pattern lends the wool tunic an authentic and appealing look that is well-suited to any historical garb. The versatile historical tunic may be worn with a matching undergarment for added warmth or on its own. Combining it with a belt is recommended.
