Product description
The drinking horn holder, crafted in the shape of a Viking dragon, is well-suited to drinking horns from 0.2 to 0.5 L. The opening measures approximately 4 cm. It may be placed on a table or cupboard at home to display a special drinking horn, or employed as a stand whilst drinking from the horn. An excellent home decoration, and particularly well-suited to LARP and festivals. In early medieval Viking art, dragons played a prominent role as symbols of strength, courage and mythology. They were depicted with writhing bodies and sharp claws. The depictions of dragons on Viking artefacts, such as jewellery, ships and weapons, testify to the deep-rooted cultural and religious significance these creatures held for the Vikings.
