Product description
The 'French' musketeers employed muskets as their principal weapon, but these were difficult to load and fire. As such, they also carried a good rapier as a secondary weapon. This musketeers rapier is inspired by originals from around 1590. The hilt features a basket-shaped grip that is well-suited to both left and right-handed users, offering an effective combination of the cup hilt and swept hilt styles. The grip is wrapped with wood and steel wire, whilst the parts of the basket are covered with shiny nickel silver.
