Product description

A beautiful early traditional Scottish dirk by Windlass Steelcrafts, including scabbard. The shape of the Scottish dirk comes from the medieval bollock dagger. The blade of a Scottish dirk was single-edged, and meant to be used beside a shield and sword, beside a claymore, or as a weapon on its own. The wooden grip is decorated with a chevron, this motif is based on an original Scottish dirk. The semi-sharp blade is made of tempered 1085 carbon steel with a hardness of 48 HRC. Perfect for lovers of Scottish history and the Highlanders, as an accessory for a kilt and for Scottish reenactment.
