These glasses bead is a historical reproduction of a Migration Period (Roman Iron Age/Völkerwanderungszeit) find from Bodarp, Skåne, Sweden. The bead is spherical, with the color scheme: black with yellow, red and light blue spiral motif — inspired by the original specimen that was excavated at the time.

The bead is handmade using the same technique used by earlier glassblowers: glass is melted on a metal rod, making each bead is a little bit unique. That makes them suitable for reenactment and living history, and ideal for making your own necklace or bracelet to put together — combine them as desired with other beads and pendants from our collection.
