Product description
An excellent throwing axe by Windlass Steelcraft, crafted from tempered 1065 carbon steel. The tomahawk was the axe of the Native Americans who were attacked by the pioneers of the American frontier. The American pioneers also favoured the tomahawk, as it was a practical tool and an outstanding throwing weapon. The US military employed the tomahawk as a tool and melee weapon during the Vietnam War and the Iraq War. The axe is particularly well-suited to both outdoor and indoor axe throwing. The axehead is hand-forged from strong tempered 1065 carbon steel and traditionally mounted in the shaft with a wedge.
