Product description
During the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, almost every person owned a set of cutlery. It was essential to take along on a journey, so monks, pilgrims, Landsknechten and highwaymen also carried a set amongst their travelling belongings. This set is constructed from stainless steel, ensuring it never rusts. The set comprises a knife and fork. The fork was only employed from the fifteenth century onwards to eat as in modern times; prior to this century, the fork was utilised solely to serve food.
