The armour is based on originals from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. Originals may be seen in Italian paintings, for example. This complete armour consists of vambraces, elbow cops and rerebraces. These armour pieces protect the outside of the entire arm. The armour pieces are connected to one another with leather straps and rivets. The elbow cop is equipped with a roundel to protect the inside of the elbow against impacts. The armour may be fastened securely with the leather straps. The rerebrace has a leather flap with holes so that it may be tied to your doublet, gambeson or cuirass with laces.
