These hourglass gauntlets are inspired by originals from the early 15th century. Hourglass gauntlets are particularly well-suited for those who require a high degree of wrist movement and flexibility in combat. These fully articulated gauntlets are crafted from riveted 18-gauge steel and are fully wearable. Narrow at the wrist and flaring out towards the fingers and forearm, they create the distinctive hourglass shape. The gauntlets are riveted to leather gloves and feature an additional leather strap across the palm for extra strength and grip. The fingers and thumbs are protected by an extra layer of hardened leather, which not only provides additional protection but also prevents wear and chafing of the suede glove.
