Product description
The simple and sturdy mace is based on originals from the 16th and 17th centuries. Crafted from high carbon steel with a leather grip, it has been designed to cause damage to plate armour. This type of mace was very popular in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India, and the Ottoman Empire. Amongst the surviving examples, there exist both plain versions without decoration and richly decorated versions made for officers. This replica is based on the less decorated variant.
