This one belt is based on an early medieval buckle from the rich Alemannic noble grave 9 of Niederstotzingen, part of a Merovingian buckle set from the late 6th century. The original was part of a silver gilt bronze implement and is one of the best-known finds from this burial field in southern Germany.

The belt in brown leather features a buckle with a regular pin instead of the pin plate of the historic original, made in silver plated brass. Thanks to the generous length can you get the belt wear it knotted if desired, and you can easily adjust the size yourself with a pair of eyelet pliers.
