This wide belt is based on a Merovingian find from Balingen, dating from the 5th-6th century. This is instead of the thorn plate that is common in find material from that period belt Equipped with a buckle with a normal pin.

The belt in black leather with buckle and strap tongue in silver plated brass stands out because of its generous width of 4 cm.

A solid addition to your equipment for reenactment from the early Middle Ages and the Merovingian period.
