Product description
This decorative disk is a reproduction of a find from a 5th-century Alemannic grave in Hailfingen (grave no. 9). Whether the eagle motifs on the disc have a pagan or Christian origin has not been established with certainty archaeologically.
Decorative discs of this type were usually attached to long bands belt worn; thanks to the added eyelet, this reproduction can also be worn as a pendant. The disc is solid and machined on both sides, made of fine jewel bronze.
An authentic-looking accessory for those recreating Alemannic or wider Migration Period culture.
