Amulet Taranis Gundestrup boiler, bronze

Product description

This amulet shows Taranis, the Celtic god of sky and thunder, holding two sunwheels in his hands — symbols of both the sun and the chariot in which he was pulled across the sky. The image is taken from the Gundestrup Cauldron, a more than 2,100 year old Celtic silver cauldron that was found in Denmark in 1891.

Performed in bronze, with dimensions of approx. 4.2 x 4.7 cm.
