Product description

The fibula is a replica of a 6th-century original excavated in grave 22, Chessell Down (Isle of Wight, England). The Anglo-Saxon fibula is decorated with typical motifs of the Great Migration. Similar fibulae were worn by Germanic peoples, amongst them the Franks, Merovingians and Lombards, from North-West Europe to North Italy.
