Product description

This ancient Greek coin (drachme) is a replica of several originals from the 6th century AD. The coin was minted in the Greek city state of Athens. The first coins mainly depicted animals that represented several city states. This coin has a pegasus on one side, a winged horse from Greek mythology. The other side depicts a warrior with a Corinthian helmet shoved half over his head.
This coin is made of silvered pewter. It has a diameter of approx. 2 cm.
