Product description
The helmet is a replica of a 6th-century original found in Belgrade (Serbia). Such helmets were worn by the Germanic tribes across Europe, with examples discovered from Spain and North Africa to Germany and the Balkans.
The helmet is constructed from 2 mm thick steel and is furnished with cheek flaps of the kind that remained in use on helmets until the 9th century. The nose piece is crafted from 3 mm thick steel for additional safety. The helmet is further equipped with a chainmail neck protection and a leather inlay.
It is available in sizes M (for a head circumference of up to 61 cm) and L (for a head circumference of up to 64 cm).
