These sturdy historical shoes are based on models from the 17th and 18th centuries and are well-suited to reenactment, living history, theatrical productions, or period costumes. Crafted from durable cowhide leather, with the rough side (suede) on the outside and the smooth grain on the inside — offering both an authentic look and comfortable wear. The shoes come standard with a classic buckle, historically accurate for the period. They may also be worn with laces, thanks to the additional eyelets. Please note: laces are not included with the shoes. The shoes feature a leather sole. Important: leather soles tend to wear down more quickly whilst used extensively on modern surfaces such as asphalt.
