Product description
The replica of a Viking hat is based on textile fragments from Haithabu and Birka. These hats were crafted from fabric and sometimes trimmed with fur, providing extra warmth to the head. It is possible to decorate this hat yourself by adding fur or embroidery.
The hat is constructed from a historical herringbone motif weaving method — a technique that has been employed for centuries, from the early Middle Ages to the present day, in Harris Tweed amongst others. Crafted from sturdy cotton, the hat is available in two sizes.
