This summer blouse made of lightweight cotton fabric has a loose fit and gets its close-fitting shape through lacing under the bust. The neckline is slit and features a small stand-up collar. The side seams also have small slits, which allow the blouse to drape nicely over the hips. Small box pleats at the shoulders and the back centre ensure a good fit. Although blouses are historically more associated with the Renaissance than the Middle Ages, this blouse creates a beautiful Viking or medieval look when combined with a skirt and bodice or pants and a cloak.
