Product description
This burgonet is a replica of one of the most used cavalry helmets from the British Civil War (1642-1649). Burgonets like these were worn by cavalrymen throughout Europe from the second half of the 16th century, and were popular with the Polish winged hussars and mercenaries of the Swiss infantry. This type of helmet was used by both the English Roundheads and the Cavaliers during the British Civil War. In the British Isles, this helmet was nicknamed the "lobster pot" — unlike its predecessors, it offers an optimal field of vision.
This burgonet is made from steel, 1.6mm.
