Chainmail standard, mixed riveted round rings, 9 mm

A chainmail shirt or mail component is considered battle-ready when at least half of the rings are riveted closed. Unrivetted mail is not battle-ready. Always wear sufficient padding under mail, for example in the form of a gambeson.

To keep your mail components or plate armor properly in place, it is best to attach leather laces to your gambeson and fasten them to the armor/mail. The armor will then stay better in place during fighting.

Remove rust from your chainmail shirt by rubbing the rings against each other (just like when you hand wash a garment, but without water). This way, the rings will naturally clean themselves.

When packaging this item, we use only 100% recycled plastic and recycled paper/cardboard sourced from FSC certified forests. A large portion of the material is reused directly without the intervention of the recycling process. Recycle the material by separating your waste.

1. Cardboard: separate or reuse paper.
2. 2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags, and plastic tape: separate or reuse plastic. Optionally, puncture the cushions with a needle for volume reduction.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: have a plastic inner layer. Remove this, and then separate paper and plastic.
