Product description
Knights who departed for the Crusades had their ladies wear a chastity belt to prevent them from engaging in sexual intercourse. Fortunately, it remained possible to use the toilet.
Medieval chastity belts are crafted from iron and fitted with a lock; the knight, of course, kept the key upon his person.
The oldest known image of a chastity belt is from 1405, in Bellifortis by Konrad Keyser von Eichstatt, a book about the military techniques of that era.
