Product description
The leaf-shaped spearhead is a timeless design that recurs throughout history. It has been employed as far back as the Bronze Age, both for hunting and warfare, and has seen distinct styles across different cultures and eras — from the Celts to the ancient Romans and Greeks through to the Vikings. Its use continued well into the Middle Ages. This variant, with its distinctive raised midline, is likely to have been utilised by Roman, Greek, and Celtic warriors during classical times. Crafted from hardened EN45 carbon steel, it has a length of approximately 31 cm (12.25 in.) and a blade of some 22 cm. By means of two pre-drilled holes, the spearhead may be attached to a wooden shaft of your choice, permitting you to assemble your own Viking or early medieval spear. The shaft and any additional mounting materials are not included.
