Product description

The claymore often had a long ricasso covered with leather so the user could put two hands on the blade when the enemy came to close. The earliest claymores were used in the 16th century, that last ones in the 18th century. These later models had a cross-guard that ended in a honeycomb pattern, so that the blows of the opponent could be parried.

The blade of the claymore is hand-forged and polished. THe sword has a length of 122 cm with a blade of 91 cm and a grip with a length of 21 cm. It weighs approx. 1,81 kg.
