Product description

The sword is based on a 13th-century original used during the late Crusades. The original is now part of the collection of the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin. This traditional one-handed sword features an Oakeshott type 1 pommel with a cross motif engraved upon it. The grip is constructed from wood and decorated on both sides with brass rings. The sword is supplied with a wooden scabbard covered in leather. The blade is crafted from 1075 carbon steel with a hardness of 45 HRC in the core and a hardness of 50 HRC at the edges, making the sword both flexible and strong.
