Product description
The helmet is a replica of one found at Mainz, Germany. The dating of the original remains uncertain; it was presumably not used later than the 2nd century AD. A similar helmet has been found in Krefeld.
The reproduction is crafted from steel and brass, and is decorated with, amongst other motifs, a temple and the eagle of Jupiter. The helmet is supplied with a cotton arming cap for wearing comfort and is well-suited to head circumferences of up to 60 cm. It weighs approximately 2 kg.
