Product description

This is a replica of an Italic galea which is found in the Balkan. The original was presumably worn between 150 and 250 AD.

The reproduction is made of steel and decorated with brass. The helmet has a broad eyebrow- and shoulderplate which is typical for Roman helmets from this period.
It is delivered including a cotton arming cap and is suitable for a head circumference up to 60 cm. It weighs approx. 2 kg.
