Drinking horns were already employed by the Greeks and Romans in antiquity, and during the Middle Ages drinking horns held a ritual and ceremonial function. This fine drinking horn is crafted from natural horn that has been selected for its lighter colour. The horn holds no less than 0.5 litres of your favourite beverage! The exterior is polished to produce a smooth, luxurious surface and is engraved with a symmetrical pattern. The interior has been treated to render it suitable for drinking, and a wax layer has been applied for extra durability. This drinking horn is particularly well-suited to festivals, re-enactment, LARP, or simply a relaxed evening on the sofa.
