Product description
The lamp is based on several originals. Similar oil lamps have been found in the 7th-century Sutton Hoo ship grave, in the 8th-century Oseberg ship grave, and in Bergen. It may be lit with beeswax just as the originals were, simply by adding small wooden pieces as a wick, or a piece of dried tinder fungus. To extinguish it, place a wooden plank on the tray.
