Product description

This is a reconstruction of a high medieval sword from the 13th century. The disc pommel and the derived octagonal pommel was a typical English model, but was also regularly used in other countries.

The sword has a length of 96 cm with a blade of 79 cm and a max. width of 4,5 cm. The point of balance is situated 14 cm from the cross-guard. The pommel and cross-guard are made of steel. The semi-sharp blade is made of carbon steel with a scale of Rockwell hardness of 48-50 HRC. The included wooden scabbard is covered with leather.

This sword is an Oakeshott type X.
