Product description
This love ring is inspired by the fifteenth-century Ewenni ring, found at the priory of Ewenni in Wales. On the inside it bears the inscription "ieme la belle" — "love the fair one". The original is housed in Amgueddfa Cymru, the National Museum of Wales.
The ring is cast in lead-free tin with a layer of 22-carat gilding and the size is easily adjustable. In the Middle Ages, rings were worn as a sign of faith, as an amulet or as a token of love; such poetic rings with inscriptions were particularly beloved.
A romantic choice for re-enactment or as a meaningful gift.
