The leg armour has been crafted after several originals. Leg armour of this type was employed throughout Europe between the 2nd half of the 15th and the 1st half of the 17th century.

The leg armour consists of several parts and has a steel thickness of 1.6 mm. The upper side is furnished with leather pieces so it may be worn connected to a belt, without any other armour parts. The leg armour is fitted with straps as well for fastening them to the legs. The knee cops are furnished with roundels for protecting the back of the knee.
