The leather jacket is based on images of 16th–17th century originals. It is well-suited to a large number of historical and fantasy costumes. Particularly well-suited to 16th and 17th century costumes such as the 80 Years' War and seafarers, it is equally fitting for fantasy and Cosplay costumes such as Game of Thrones and pirates. Historically, this type of leather jacket was often worn over the doublet. On occasion, the doublet and the jacket were made to match.

The jacket is crafted from 1.4–1.6 mm black suede leather and can be fastened at the front with leather straps and buckles. It features a split at the side for extra mobility, permitting comfortable wear during battles and whilst riding.
