Product description
The Germanic fibula is a replica of a 6th–7th century original excavated in Kent, England. Fibulae of this type were worn by the Germanic tribes across Europe, though they were especially popular around the Rhine area. The original is now held within the collection of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. Such fibulae were traditionally worn in pairs by Germanic peoples, including Merovingian and Anglo-Saxon women.Product details
