The fiberglass core has been designed for use in creating your own LARP and Cosplay weapons, whilst still benefiting from the quality and safety of Epic Armoury.
How does one create a LARP weapon? Cut foam in the shape of your desired design and glue it around a sanded fiberglass core (due to the sanding, the surface takes the glue better). Leave enough foam around the rod for safety and sturdiness. Once the desired shape has been achieved, dip the weapon in latex and allow it to dry after each new coating for a smooth and protective surface.
Regularly maintain your weapon with silicone spray to prevent it from drying out.
