Product description
Gorgets of this type were worn between the 16th and 18th centuries. The gorget increasingly became a signifier of officers. Later on, gorgets were regularly decorated with crosses — for example, where the wearer was a member of a knighthood. This gorget is fitted with straps on the sides to which arm armour can be attached. It has been given a bronzed finish to protect against rust. Well-suited to LARP and costume use.
