This one fibula is the replica of a so-called seven-knot fibula, based on a Germanic find from Russia and dating from the Migration period of the 3rd-4th century. This type was especially common in East Germanic areas in late antiquity.
Performed in silvered bronze, with a size of 4.8 x 2.8 cm.
Fibula's These were part of the Germanic women's costume and were worn as a pair on the shoulders to attach the peplos. A nice addition to your equipment for late antiquity reenactment.
