Product description
The federschwert has been designed for HEMA, historical European Martial Arts. Federschwerter were employed as training swords by various fighting schools during the 15th and 16th centuries. The federschwert takes its name from the fact that the sides of the blade are removed, rendering the weapon faster than the hand-and-a-half and two-handed swords utilised on the battlefield. This federschwert is constructed with a blade of hard flexibility. The blade permits a maximum pressure of 14 to 15 kg. The tip features a thickening for additional safety.
