Product description
Few English monarchs capture the imagination like Henry VIII, famous for his six wives and the founding of the Church of England. This set contains three replicas of his coins: a penny, a half groat and a groat, which together provide a fine picture of his coinage in gold and silver.
Each coin is cast directly from an original and crafted in lead-free tin. The double-sided coins are mounted on an information card with background on Henry VIII and his era, which also saw his flagship the Mary Rose and the royal armoury come into being.
An attractive set for collectors and for those who re-enact or study the Tudor period.
