Product description
This robust belt is inspired by a forged iron belt hook found on the Danish island of Bornholm, dating from the pre-Roman Iron Age. Belt hooks of this type are often incorrectly attributed to the Viking Age, but no belt hooks are known from that period at all — similar finds from Scandinavia all point to a much older origin.
The belt is made of sturdy cowhide leather colour brown, finished with two narrow pressed lines that give the whole a neat appearance. The belt hook is in one piece iron forged and deliberately provided with a dark, forge-black layer for an authentic, rustic look.
An attractive addition to your equipment for Iron Age and early Celtic period reenactment. The belt is available in four sizes, so you can easily choose the right size.
